AEF awards more than $55,000 in teacher grants
The Aldine Education Foundation (AEF) awarded 15 teacher grants to educators throughout the district as the AEF “Prize Posse” surprised them by visiting their respective campuses on Friday, Dec. 11. The grants announced Dec. 11 totaled $55,659.98.
AEF Golf Tournament raises more than $42,000
The second annual AEF (Aldine Education Foundation) Golf Tournament raised more than $42,000, shattering the previous high of $20,000 raised by the tournament in 2014. The tournament was held at Longwood Golf Club and attracted 120 golfers.
